Sympathy to Stardom

August9

I finally got Eze’s laptop last night. For four months, I have been working for this online business using my PC and it really gave me terrible backache. I hope I can be more productive now because I can find a comfortable place to suit my mood when I work. I actually wanted to buy my own laptop but Eze just offered to lend me his extra unit. (He’s got one from work so he’s no longer using this one.) Actually, I think I was very productive today and I think that one of the reasons behind this is this laptop that makes me work  more comfortably.

Edith just texted me a while ago regarding our visa. According to her, she called Sir Joseph and he said we are just waiting for the advice of the Immigration regarding our final medical exams. I am really hoping to receive the good new before my birthday.

Well today was a good day overall, except that Laarni of Pinoy Dream Academy was saved! It is a fact that she’s got the talent. But there’s more behind stardom and with that kind of attitude, I don’t know how far she will go with just a common singing talent. This is just a proof that Filipinos always consider “sympathy” over everything else.

Stop those Stupid Comments

July24

I’m tired of deleting useless and stupid comments so I decided to change the title of my post Just Before Good Night into something else. I really am pissed for such people and SPAM (Grrrrrrrrr) who want to put trash on my site and even tag me to those senseless sites. I think I have deleted 12 comments in the past week and I can no longer afford to moderate those comments.

To those who would visit my site, please make sure you only give sensible comments. Think first before hitting that Submit Comment button. And to SPAM, sorry.. you will never bother me again! :p

Thanks!

I’m Not in the Mood.. :(

July20

I was not able to write here again last night and I’m not in the mood today. But at least I was able to wake up in time for the 7 am mass and was able to do some articles for my new blogs I just setup and will soon monetize. I still don’t know until when I will work on the content of these four blogs. I really hope to make good money out of them.

I slept for almost three hours this afternoon so I’m expecting to have lots of energy to write until around 2 am. I hope I could finish the content for at least two of them. I actually finished one blog :) Tomorrow is another day and I expect to receive more assignments from Kuya. I wish I could also receive new jobs for my own blogs.

Food, Dream, GoDaddy, DP and Money!

July18

I was not able to write here yesterday.. :(

Well last night, I had this pizza craving. So my cousin, Let-Let and I went to Pizza Galore, a pizza parlor near our house. I really love pizza for comfort food! I’m also crazy over the bibingka that we could buy here in our place. So I pigged out again last night.

This morning I woke up late, just a few minutes before 10. I had a weird dream. I was with my former officemates in LSP because they visited me here at home. But I left them but instead went to a store with a highschool friend, Jade. There where ghosts, haunted houses, a swimming pool and a lot other things jampacked in my dream. I can no longer remember the details. Well, thank God it was just a dream!

Going back to the real morning, I don’t want to elaborate things but I still cannot access my DP account. Grrrrrrrrr.. Then I already bought new domains from Jose Cuervo, nice name, huh! hahah Unfortunately GoDaddy gave us a lot of troubles. I already emailed customer support and I do hope I can update the domain details for me to monetize them immediately.

Kuya only gave me a few tasks today and I was able to finish them already. I also finished two jobs for myself. :) Cheers for me!

The Shortest Ms. Universe Pageant

July14

I really am very disappointed with myself for not being able to write here last night. I just didn’t have anything to write about because my day was really boring. And now, I will again publish something not worth reading. What can I do? I just stayed at home the whole day writing for other blogs. I’m just so tired that my eyes would want to close. I still have four more articles to write and I’m not sure if I can still finish those. I really hope something exciting would happen for you guys to have something worth reading.

BTW, I woke up around eight this morning to watch Ms. Universe 2008. Unfortunately, I am a bit dissatisfied with the competition. Not because Ms. Philippines was not able to make it even at least to the Top 15 but because I feel like it was the shortest and least exciting pageant I’ve ever seen.

First, it was the first Ms. Universe competition that only gave away two awards (Best in National Costume and Ms. Congeniality).

Secondly, since there are no other special awards given, Ms. Philippines was not able to bring home anything for the country.

Third, the national costume of Ms. Philippines is oh so pink! I don’t know where she got that but it really captured all my attention, so I got distracted.

And lastly I knew who will be the winners in the first 30 minutes of the competition. I think it was the most predictable pageant on Earth!

I would just like to commend Ms. Universe 2007 for breaking the rules. She was the first title holder to make her final walk in a tuxedo. I think that was really cool! I also would like to mention my favorites. I like the beauty of Ms. Colombia because her face is very pleasant and she was able to carry herself well in the Long Gown competition. I think if that gown was assigned to another candidate, it would look like a rug on a beautiful body. Sorry to whoever designed it. However, I was not amazed with her answer in the Q&A. (just a plus that she answered in English)

Well, Ms. Kosovo is an Angelina Jolie lookalike. Too bad she didn’t make it to the final 5. Ms. Mexico has got the best curves. Very sexy and nice gown too! Her answer in the Q&A just did not leave any mark to me. Can’t remember the question and how she answered. Well, I was just glad that Ms. Venezuela made it. She’s beautiful and looks very smart. I liked her answer. Take note: she also answered in English! And I like her long gown. It’s yellow, my favorite! hahaha

Also, thanks to Ms. USA for spicing the competition up a bit when she slipped on stage. Honestly, I felt worried because there seems to be a candidate who wants to make a different show every year and this year turned out to be USA’s turn again. Don’t think I’m bad. I just want to mention it. I’m not against Ms. Beyonce Look-alike. :)

So again, the Latinas dominated the pageant this year. Well, even though Jennifer Barrientos was not able to bring home the bacon, I still think Filipinos should be proud of her. Although I was not able to watch the Bb. Pilipinas competition, I think she’s smart! A lot smarter than Janina San Miguel. I just hope Janina won’t mess up on Ms. World on October. Hahaha
